In principle, all Personal Data will be stored within the legal jurisdiction in which it is collected. We may, however, provide services to you via resources and servers outside of your jurisdiction of residence and, due to EiM’s global operating and management requirements, we may transfer and store your Personal Data outside of your jurisdiction of residence with members of EiM globally and its Recipients (defined below) to the extent permitted under applicable law.
We will continue to retain Personal Data that we collect for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the original purpose of collection and as may be required under applicable law or business purposes.

1. Purposes
The purpose for which Personal Data is collected and processed includes, but is not limited to the following:
- To manage the relationship with you and your child (e.g. to respond to your queries);
- To facilitate EiM related events (e.g. open day or visit to EiM schools);
- To comply with any regulatory, audit or security related requirements;
- To send you direct marketing relating to EiM and/or its schools (e.g. newsletters and advertisements regarding EiM); and
- Any other purposes related to the smooth running of any EiM school.
2. Sharing and Transfer of Personal Data
In order to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and to serve you, we may share Personal Data with members of the EiM Group and other Recipients (defined below) which are located in the United Kingdom, United States, Singapore, China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), Republic of Korea, Republic of the Union of Myanmar and other jurisdictions in which the Recipients have operations. We will only share and transfer Personal Data as is necessary, as subject to this Privacy Policy and will require these Recipients provide such Personal Data a standard of protection that is at least comparable to that under the applicable laws and regulations of the jurisdiction in which the relevant EiM school operates.
“Recipients” may include but are not limited to: educational institutions, educational service providers, performing arts institutions, arts organisations, sport organisations, professionals (individuals as well as organisations) involved in teaching and learning at an EiM school, data analysis service providers, advertising service providers, product suppliers and service providers which the EiM school may inform you of.
3. Non-identifiable Personal Data
We may gather statistics with respect to academic performance and applications for admission and share with members of the EiM Group or other institutions or publicly disclose such statistics and analytical data, for the purpose of analyzing the operations of the relevant EiM school or EiM Group. Such data will not consist of any Personal Data.
Save as permissible above, we will only disclose your Personal Data to third parties or the public with your consent or based on applicable laws and regulations.
Managing Your Personal Data
If you wish to access or modify your Personal Data, or to request us to delete your Personal Data in accordance with provisions of applicable laws and regulations, you can reach us via the contact information in this Privacy Policy to access, modify or delete your Personal Data. We may require you to provide proof of identification to verify you have the right to make such a request.
